Upcoming Update for Online TV for Windows Phone

Hello everyone, today I’m going to be talking a bit about what’s coming to Online TV for Windows Phone, first of all I want to thank everyone that has downloaded the App and I’m so proud that at the of writing , we have a total of

135,878

downloads word wide, to put it in prospective the popular YouTube channel Tek Syndicate that was created on 23 Jul 2008 has a total of 139,985 subscribers.
We launched Online TV for Windows Phone in May 18 2013, with a download rate of 1,800 new downloads every day.

Since we first launched Online TV for Windows Phone, a lot of improvements have been made, to the App, we refreshed the UI with the last update and we brought the news feed, we joined forces with Microsoft PubCenter and other “under the hood” improvements.

During this time, we also launched a BETA for our brand new Chat feature, the chat has been fun to have and the feedback we got is awesome.

So we will be integrating the Chat feature as part of Online TV for Windows Phone, so all our users can interact with each other and with our staff.
Another thing that we are going to do is remove the ads from the main page and move them to a new section, this new section will be for our partners, everyone that makes it possible for the app to be free and the TV channel to get the content you see.

Making the UI clean and faster.

We are also fixing 10 out of the 10 bugs that were reported by the users in regard of the app, just remember the TV signal depends entirely on your internet connection, if you have poor signal over WiFi or 3/4G , or if the network is saturated your viewing experience will be affected.
A lot of improves are made for lower end phones with just 512 of memory to improve the overall experience of the app itself.

We are also going to make some improvements to the signal itself, to accommodate the newer devices such as the Nokia Lumia 1020.

Overall we are working to make the app faster and to connect our 130+ thousand subscribers in a better way.
