‘I’m turning into a sheep:’ Reviewers hilariously destroy Apple’s ‘Move to iOS’ app
Among all the iOS 9-launch hubbub, you might’ve missed an interesting factoid: Apple launched its first-ever Android app on Wednesday.
The app, called “Move to iOS,” is designed to help Android users switch to an iOS device, by transferring their contacts, photos, messages, bookmarks and other data to an iPhone or iPad.
Unsurprisingly, the app is getting absolutely destroyed by reviewers on Google Play, many of whom had given it a meager one star.
“I’d rather be shot in the face,” one reviewer points out, “than switch to a closed, controlled environment. Apple will be the next BlackBerry in a few years.”
“When I downloaded the app it immediately prompted me to have full body reconstruction surgery in order to appear more like a sheep,” writes another.
“This is a time travel app. Ever wish you could go back in time? Well now you can! Experience all the features you have had for years all over again, but this time in slow, drawn out increments,” chimes the third.
“Fake. Tried this app on my awesome LG G 3, and I wanted an iPhone 6 plus with ios9. Instead it made my phone a BlackBerry curve,” complains the fourth.
“I’m turning into a sheep? I downloaded this app, all of the sudden I felt horns coming out of my head, I felt fur growing out of my body and I am bahing uncontrollably. I also have an unnecessary urge to eat grass. Bahahhhah bahahahah,” says another.
At the time of this writing, the app has more than 3,350 one-star reviews — more than triple than all the two-, three-, four- and five-star reviews put together. Most of those, admittedly, are 5-star reviews, of which there are more than 800, so the app might not be a total disaster after all.
